Czech Majolica Torchiere Vase Lamp Base

Magnificent European majolica torchiere vase lamp base, made in Czechoslovakia. The colors are spectacular, from the yellow floraform top to the small roses accented against the rust background and loads of yellow and blue Bohemian scrolls. (The white area in the interior view of the top is the remains of a sticker and have since been removed.) It measures 19 5/8" tall and the base diameter ranges from 8 3/4" to slightly under 9" depending upon how it is measures. The condition is extremely good, with a nick to the tip of one of the top petals and 3 very tiny glaze flakes on the body. There is some crazing. There are brass fittings ready to wire as a lamp, or these could be removed and the hole plugged if you wish to use as a vase. The bottom is marked Made in Czechoslovakia and also has impressed marks as shown. We are unsure of the maker but the work is certainly in the style of Eichwald or Bloch. An exquisite piece!
