Pair Polychrome Monk in Library Aronson Bookends c.1920

Very attractive set of heavy ( 6 1/2 lbs!) bookends in bronze over metal with a polychrome finish depicting a studious monk seated on a stool beside book-lined library shelves. They are marked LVA 1920 on the reverse, and we believe they were made by Aronson. They are in good antique condition with some loss to the paint and a fissure in the bronze overlay on one side. 6 1/2" tall, 4 3/4" wide, and the projection back-to-front is 3". One bookend has green felt covering on the bottom, the other does not.
