A fabulous c. 1900 three piece brass desk set in a Persian or Moorish design from Bailey Banks & Biddle. The set consists of a photo frame measuring 7 1/4" wide x 5 7/8" high made to hold a 3" x 5" photo. The second piece is a rectangular box, likely for paper clips but also nice for nibs (or you could leave the top up and use it to stand/display business cards. The box measures 4" x 2 1/4" x 1 1/4" high. The third piece is an impressive sized inkwell with glass insert. Its base measures 4 1/8" square and it stands 3 1/8" high. All pieces are in very good condition with no dents or splits and a nice patina. The photo frame is marked "Bailey Banks & Biddle Co." as shown. This is a great design that transitions well from Art Nouveau to the early Arts & Crafts era.
