1920's Elegant Gold Encrusted Pink Glass Console Bowl, 4 Matching Candleholders

Right out of the Roaring 20's comes this fabulous pink rolled rim console bowl with 4 matching candleholders, all pieces having gold encrusted rims in a flowering branch pattern. You can see the Art Deco influence by the roll of the bowl's rim. The set was made by the Diamond Glass Company of Indiana, Pennsylvania in the late 1920's. While some would call this Depression Glass, we prefer to think of Daisy and Gatsby, and the possibility that she had a set like this on a table or atop the piano in her mansion. It's so lovely and romantic.

The bowl is 13 1/2" in diameter and approximately 2 1/2" high. Each 6-sided candleholder is 3 3/8" high and has a base diameter of 4 3/8". The bowl alone weighs 5 lbs! Candlesticks weigh 2 lbs. The set is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks and only slight wear to the gold decoration. I see a "straw mark" in the bowl and a couple of tiny scratches when you hold it to the light, but overall the set is in remarkably nice condition.
