A beautiful satin and matte finished opal glass vase with pink matte satin interior at the neck, and finished with an applied satin almost vertical tightly crimped rim. c. 1880's. 6 1/8" tall and about 3 1/2" in diameter at its widest. While reminiscent of art glass made by Mt. Washington and Pairpoint, it may also be of English manufacture. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks; when held under bright light, light tooling marks can be seen on the rim. A beautiful piece of Victorian art glass.
