New Martinsville Teardrop Footed Bowl, Floral Sterling Overlay

A beautiful large footed bowl from the Elegant Glass era (1930's - 1940's) by New Martinsville in the teardrop form. Has a scalloped rim and fluted panels with applied sterling silver overlay in a beautiful floral pattern with butterflies. Stands on 3 feet. This large bowl has a top diameter of 10 3/4" and is 4" high. It is in lovely condition with no chips, cracks, or scratches; there is one small flower petal where the silver has lifted slightly. This is a beautiful center bowl to display and would be outstanding for a special occasion flower arrangement.
