Coronet Limoges 11 1/2" Charger Plate, Poppies, Artist Signed

A magnificent antique Limoges porcelain charger plate or wall plaque measuring a large 11 1/2" in diameter, masterfully hand painted and signed by the well known Limoges artist Alfred Broussillon aka Bronssillon. His work is among the very best and is highly desirable. His painting and coloration are superb. The background color is yellow with shadings of terra cotta, greens, and claret, and the pink tinged white poppy in the center is just exquisite as are the surroundings shaded pink and yellow poppies. Notice, too, the shading of the orange/terra cotta leaves on the upper left. The plate bears the Coronet/Borgfeldt mark on the reverse as pictured used between 1906-1920. There are 4 factory holes on the back footrim for hanging. Condition is very good with no chips or cracks, some wear along the gold edges, and a tiny 1/4" scratch on the dark red poppy near the bottom as shown.
