This antique Limoges tray was made between 1894-1900 by the Delinieres Limoges factory. It measures 11 1/2" x 9 1/2" and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks or paint loss. It's been masterfully hand painted with clusters of red/deepest pink roses and pale pink ones, too. The green leaves are done in varying hues and the background has soft blue-green shadows--amazingly beautiful! The shape is slightly asymmetrical, with excellent workmanship on the pierced and scalloped border that is also embossed with leaf shapes--a true delight to the eye. The gold trim on the tray's rim adds the perfect touch of elegance.
This tray, as with all Limoges fine porcelain, is a one-of-a-kind confection. Whether used as a serving tray at tea time for luscious bonbons or other delights, or used as a dresser or perfume tray, we know you'll be pleased with this piece.
