Lavish Pink Roses & Gilt Trimmed Limoges Porcelain Charger Plate

Beautiful Limoges porcelain charger plate decorated with hand painted pink roses and green leaves. We adore the scalloped rim on this plate, with its raised curves and "bow" handles. The artist's signature on the front is faint, possibly Rosenberg. The plate is signed on the reverse as well, but again the faintness of the marks precludes a definitive attribution. This gorgeous piece measures 10 1/2" in diameter and is free of chips, cracks, or scratches. There is slight wear to the gilding along a few edges, nothing that distracts from the beauty of this plate.
