19th C Staffordshire Flow Blue Pitcher, Yellow Flowers, Copper Luster

A wonderful Victorian flow blue 6 sided pitcher outlined with purple copper luster accents and a center panel on each side with raised floral decoration embellished with copper luster and yellow flowers. Wonderful feather detail surrounding the spout. This pitcher combines the techniques of majolica glaze on the flowers and the rich cobalt of flow blue. The pitcher stands 8" high and measures 6 3/4" from spout to outermost portion of handle. It is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks though it does have crazing appropriate to age. A fine example of English Staffordshire pottery from the late 1800's.
