Dated 1883 Royal Crown Derby Wilmot Sugar Bowl, Cup and Saucer

Beautiful Royal Crown Derby blue and white double handle oval sugar bowl with lid and matching cup and saucer in the "Wilmot" pattern. All pieces are marked with the Royal Crown Derby mark and have a British Registry mark dating them to January 2, 1883. The porcelain is fine and white with an intricate and busy lacy floral pattern, replete with bumble bees. The sugar bowl measures 5 3/4" handle edge to handle edge and is 3 3/4" tall to the top of the lid finial. The cup is 2 1/2" high, and the saucer is 5" in diameter. There are no chips or cracks, some wear to the gilt trim, and there is a faint small spider line on the inside of the sugar bowl under the rim that does not go through. A beautiful set of Victorian England transferware--the colors are outstanding.
