Set of 5 Hand Painted Floral Cabinet Plates, Germany c. 1900

A set of 5 beautiful antique cabinet plates, each a different colorway and hand painted with lovely flowers and having gilt trim on the scalloped edge. Each plate is 6" in diameter and in very nice condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. All have a yellow ground with another color near the rim that fades into the yellow center. Colors are pale green with pink roses, pale blue with violets, pale lavender with violets, peach with apple blossoms, and pale blue and green with pink and white chrysanthemums. All 5 are marked on the reverse with an impressed set of numbers and a green bird with "M Z" above and "Austria" below. This is the mark of Moritz Zdekauer of Altrolau, Germany (now Czechoslovakia) and was used by this factory c. 1900.
