c.1900 Staffordshire bowl and pitcher made by Wildblood, Health & Sons. Gorgeous transferware pattern with orange poppies, green leaves, gold trim, and an array of black and reddish browns typical of Staffordshire decoration of the period. The bowl measures 3 1/4" high and has a top diameter of 5 7/8". The pitcher is 4 1/2" tall. Both pieces are in very good condition, though the creamer has a 3/8" hairline at the rim as pictured, no chips or cracks. We believe the pattern name is either "Karoo" or "Karod". The bowl and pitcher are unmarked save for gold numbers, but we have a matching saucer (not pictured, but included at no charge) in the same pattern with the early Wildblood, Heath & Sons mark, but we are unsure whether the last letter in the pattern mark is an "o" or a "d".
