Gorgeous rich pink (practically purple) luster pitcher from Wedgwood! Stands 5 1/2" tall and measures 5 7/8" from tip of spout to outermost part of the handle. Wedgwood and other Staffordshire potteries have been making lusterware pitchers for well over a century, and the beauty of these pieces continues to make them a favorite among collectors of fine English porcelain. The green mark on this pitcher indicates it was made in the 1940s. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or damage and minimal shelf wear to the base.
