Mahogany Framed Large Print, Girl in Satin Dress on Sofa

Our photos do not do justice to this captivating print--there is some ghosting due to camera glare coming off the glass. White spots/streaks are from our lighting.

This is a beautiful print, beautifully framed and in very good condition. The print shows a young girl or woman (late teens or early twenties?) in a French blue/slightly lavender satin gown sitting on a Victorian sofa, reading a book. She appears to be in an expansive living room with a mural on the wall above the wainscot. The young woman is beautiful and the entire print really draws your attention.

The mahogany frame is deep and the moulding is very attractive. It is thick--projection from the wall is 2 1/8". The glass is clear.

Dimensions: 29 3/4" wide x 25" high; wall projection is 2 1/8".

The back is covered with old brown paper and there is a wire for hanging. The paper has a tear at the top, and we note that there is glass on this side as well. The print weighs 14 1/2 lbs. We are unsure of the exact age of this piece, but it is old yet in very nice condition. A great piece of art work for your home.
