An outstanding majolica jardiniere or flower pot, made by the Brush Pottery (aka Brush McCoy) of Zanesville, Ohio in 1926. This is their #252 pot, so marked on the bottom, and is a shade of garden green with pink/rose flowers--they look like iris to us, but we confess to not being flower people! The pottery used a tin-and-lead glaze to achieve the beautiful majolica effect. The jardiniere measures 6 5/8" high and has a top diameter of 8".
