EAPG McKee Brothers Eureka Cake Stand on High Standard

$125 USDEAPG McKee Brothers Eureka Cake Stand on High Standard

Glass:Early American Pattern Glass (Eapg)
There's something about an antique glass cake stand--whether your baking skills are picked-up-at-the-local-grocery store or ready-for-prime-time-TV homemade--that makes every cake look glamorous and special. This one is one of our all time favorites: an Early American Pattern or Pressed Glass (EAPG) by McKee Brothers of Jeannette, PA made c. 1901-1904 in the "Eureka" pattern. The top has a beautiful petal like upturned rim measuring 11 3/8" in diameter, and it stands 6" high (to the top of the ...
Crimped Jade Opaline Art Glass Vase

$195 USD Offers ConsideredCrimped Jade Opaline Art Glass Vase

Glass:Antique:Art Glass
Marvelous jade cased opaline glass. The vase is 6 1/2" tall and exhibits a wonderful translucence when held to the light. The crimped rim shows the delicate cased form. We believe this is Vineland glass, possibly early Durand. It is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks, and the only flaw we can find is one small, faint tooling mark at the base of the neck, almost unnoticeable. A gorgeous piece for the art glass collector.
1920's Elegant Gold Encrusted Pink Glass Console Bowl, 4 Matching Candleholders

$85 USD Offers Considered1920's Elegant Gold Encrusted Pink Glass Console Bowl, 4 Matching Candleholders

Glass:Elegant
Right out of the Roaring 20's comes this fabulous pink rolled rim console bowl with 4 matching candleholders, all pieces having gold encrusted rims in a flowering branch pattern. You can see the Art Deco influence by the roll of the bowl's rim. The set was made by the Diamond Glass Company of Indiana, Pennsylvania in the late 1920's. While some would call this Depression Glass, we prefer to think of Daisy and Gatsby, and the possibility that she had a set like this on a table or atop the piano ...
Very Large Wave Crest C.F. Monroe Jardiniere, Pink Flowers

$750 USD Offers ConsideredVery Large Wave Crest C.F. Monroe Jardiniere, Pink Flowers

Glass:Antique:Wave Crest
An extraordinary piece of opaline glass made by the C. F. Monroe company in their Wave Crest or Wavecrest line. This jardiniere was shown in their 1895-96 catalog, and Cohen's book on Wave Crest lists these pieces as "hard to find". This jardiniere is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The raised dots around the rim and on the transfer decoration is intact, as is the decoration itself. Even the Moorish gilt trim around the rim is excellent. There is one bubble in the glass about the ...

$210 USD Offers ConsideredAntique Victorian Biscuit or Cracker Jar, Pink Nasturtiums, Quadruple Plate Lid

Glass:Antique:Art Glass
Absolutely beautiful large Victorian biscuit barrel or cracker jar with silver plate lid and handle. We believe that this is likely Mt. Washington or Wavecrest as the silver is marked Britannia Silver Plate, which was located in Meriden, Conn. and the CF Monroe decorating company was also located there and did much work for Mt. Washington. This jar is white bristol or opal glass tinged with pale green and decorated with lovely pink nasturtium blossoms and green leaves. The piece measures 11" ...

An absolutely stunning large crystal clear pedestal made by the Cambridge Glass Company c. 1900-1910. This pattern is #2760 and known as "Red Sunflower". It is one of Cambridge's "near cut" lines, though it does not bear the near cut mark. Most likely a punch bowl base, this could be used as a vase for floral arrangements when turned over. The floral pattern is simply elegant, surely one of the prettiest Early American Pattern or Pressed Glass (eapg) patterns. 6 1/2" high, top diameter is 5 3/4" ...

$265 USD Offers ConsideredSet of 6 Signed Baccarat Water or Wine Goblets

Glass:Antique:Baccarat
Timelessly elegant, a set of 6 Baccarat crystal water or wine goblets, each standing 6 1/2" tall. We believe these are part of the "Perfection" line and pattern, which was made early 1900's. The pattern has been re-introduced but not in this size. The goblets hold about 9 1/2 ounces, so they're well-sized for serving a host of beverages. True to their pattern name, they are in absolutely perfect condition--no chips, cracks, cloudiness or scratches--any white spots (we notice the bases look like ...

The technique used to make this glass gives it a luxurious, smooth finish, hence the name "cut velvet". 6 1/8" tall and about 3 1/2" in diameter at its widest. Similar examples of Cut Velvet glass are shown in Shuman's "American Art Glass" book but are never attributed to a particular maker as they are never signed. A beautiful ...

Glass:Early American Pattern Glass (Eapg)
This is an absolutely gorgeous Early American Pattern or Pressed Glass (EAPG) carafe or open decanter made by Gillander & Sons in 1888. The pattern is called "Westmoreland" or "Swirled Block", and is often confused with Heisey's Pillows pattern. This beautiful antique piece does not appear to have ever been used and must have been carefully stored as it has no chips or scratches, just a little shelf wear and tinge of residue in the bottom--you can see in the photos how beautiful the glass is, ...

$100 USD Offers ConsideredCranberry Blown & Cut Glass Perfume Scent Bottle, Lapidary Stopper

Glass:By Function:Perfume Bottle
A stunning antique perfume or scent bottle, mold blown with facet cut panels and cut lapidary stopper. We suspect this may be Baccarat but the piece is unsigned. The rubina shading of cranberry to almost clear at the bottom is sheer loveliness. You can see in the photo of the base that the thickness of the glass wall varies, an indication of early glass. The perfume stands 4 3/8" tall and is in excellent condition with one minuscule flaw on the inner rim done in the making; the glass is crystal ...

Glass:Early American Pattern Glass (Eapg)
A very nice Early American Pressed or Pattern Glass (EAPG) cruet in the "Lacy Daisy" pattern from US Glass in 1918. Lacy Daisy is a button and diamond pattern and came in an extended table service. The cruet is 6 1/2" tall to the top of the stopper, which I believe is original. There is no damage to the cruet; the stopper is rough on the bottom (flat side). Both pieces glow the same soft yellow when exposed to UV light. Great little piece for the EAPG collector, and of course it's still usable!

The back side has one large rose, while the lid has a single large rose on top and rosebuds and leaves on the lid's lower tier. The second jar has two large flowers (poppies?), ...

$235 USD Offers ConsideredPAIR of 12" Victorian English Cranberry Glass Thorn Vases

Glass:Antique:European
Gorgeous pair of tall cranberry glass thorn vases c.1885. Very hard to find in this height, much less a pair! The cranberry glass is just beautiful, and we especially love the twisted branch feet in clear glass--the contrast with the cranberry is lovely. The vases are not exactly the same height as they're handmade--one is 12" tall and the other is 12 1/8". One of the thorns has a chip to the tip and a few are slightly rough to the touch, but overall the vases are very, very nice, and the glass ...
