Pair Mahogany Framed Oriental Japanese Prints

$80 USDPair Mahogany Framed Oriental Japanese Prints

Collectibles:Paintings, Prints
A charming and attractive pair of vintage 1930's or 1940's mahogany framed prints. Each measures 12 5/8" wide by 14 1/2" high. The prints show a Japanese couple and child in various poses in a garden setting, pretty and colorful. The frames have nice cutout scrolls. White spots at the lower corners and other areas are light reflection. There is some scuffing to both frames commensurate with age, minor on one and a little more on the other. The original paper on the back has some tears as ...

$85 USDFramed Calendar Girl Print, Early 1900's

Collectibles:Paintings, Prints

Notice the electric light sconce on the wall behind her. Everything here is original--the thin wood frame, original glass, original ...

The antique gilded gesso frame is quite lovely, with the outer border being embellished with vines and leaves, giving rise to an rim of larger leaves at the 4 "sides", and the inner frame being gadrooned. The gilding is a bit chippy and the color shows wear and unevenness, adding to the overall charm (a gold paint pen from a crafts store could touch up the chips if you desire). You can see by the photo of the ...
