If we don't know something, we will tell you that we don't and price our items accordingly. When I make a great buy on an item, I will PASS THAT SAVINGS ON TO YOU, and I encourage you to compare pricing on my merchandise against similar items found other places. Return Policy
Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy now.

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy:
Shipping charges determined by weight of the merchandise. We DO NOT charge a handling fee, only actual cost of postage. WE HAPPILY COMBINE ITEMS TO REDUCE YOUR SHIPPING EXPENSE.

INSURANCE IS MANDATORY ON ITEMS OVER $50.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS note that I accept PayPal or money orders in US Dollars only, sorry no personal checks. Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail with appropriate Customs Forms and is trackable unless other wise stated. Please do not ask me to put misleading or inaccurate information on a Customs Form--I will not do it! Some items can be safely shipped via First Class Mail in a bubble wrapper, and I will offer that when I believe the merchandise can hold up to that type of handling.

Restocking Fee:
A 10 restocking fee will be charged on all items returned. Thus far, I've never charged it! I try my best to describe my merchandise, including its flaws.

If you return merchandise it must be packed EXACTLY the way that it was sent to you, and mailed via the same service that it was sent. If you are unable to do this, then take it to a mailing service that will pack it for you. There are no refunds on shipping and insurance costs.

Please note that all of our items are Vintage or Antique which means that they are "previously owned and used." If there is more than normal wear and tear to the item, I will point it out in the description.

A Purchase Order is a CONTRACT. Please do not begin a Purchase Order and change your mind without contacting me. It takes the merchandise out of the shop and keeps it from being sold to another Buyer. Buyers who do this will be blocked from my shop. Just contact me and let me know you've changed your mind and I will appreciate your courtesy.

Payment is expected within 24 hours if you are using Pay Pal. If you are sending a check or money order, please mail it the day after you have heard from with me with the mailing address. It takes up to 7 days to receive a check and at least 5 for it to clear. Even if you don't have a Pay Pal account, you can use your credit card for a one time purchase.
