REDUCED Art Deco Nippon Noritake Vase Beautiful Antique

For lovers of the artistry that is antique Nippon porcelain, here is a very unusual piece! While it has a lovely hand painted scene with trees, mountains and a lake beneath a setting sun, the top and bottom bands of the vase are clearly influenced by the emerging popularity of Art Deco! I would guess this piece to be toward the end of the Nippon period (ca 1922) because of the Deco influence.

It stands 5 inches tall, is 4.5 inches from handle to handle and the bottom of the base is 2.5/8 inches. This has the teensiest little chip at the bottom of the base, which cannot be seen with the piece on display, and you have to really look for it to find it when you pick the piece up. There is some brownish paint on the bottom in two spots, the origin of which are a mystery to me. As usual with Nippon, there is some wear to the gold on the handles and top due to its age. If you love the beautiful but unusual in antique Nippon, this piece is for you!
