Exotic & Fabulous Volupte' Guilloche Animals Cigarette Case

This is one of the prettiest and most exotic cigarette cases that I've had the pleasure to acquire. Created by Volupte', this wonderful piece is done in a gold toned metal with engraved elephants, tigers and birds that have been enamelled in bright reds, blues, black and white. It has a very special appeal and is just lovely.

It measures 5.25 inches long, 3 inches wide and stands 3/8ths of an inch high. It is hallmarked "Volupte'" on the inside. There are no dents or dings and the case closes tightly. it comes with its original felt dust cover. There is a minimal amount of wear to the underside, but you have to look to find it. There is one scratch on the lid on the inside of the case, and also some wear to the enameling on the edges from handling as I have tried to show in the photos. I consider this to be in very good condition for its age.

A great vintage item for my Tobacciana collectors, or for those who collect vanity items.
