Victorian Wishbone Pin Seed Pearls & Diamond 14 kt Gold

This is a wonderful 14 karat gold Victorian pin set with 32 seed pearls around the sides, and a small European cut diamond on a stem in the middle. It is truly a lovely antique piece of jewelry. This came from an estate in Miami. It does not photograph very well, but I assure you that it is just beautiful! It is hard to tell, even under magnification, but I believe that the area where the pearls have been set was japanned which makes it seem much darker than it is in person.

The pin measures 1.25 inches tall, .75 inches wide, the diamond is prong set and measures apx. 1/8th of an inch in diameter is quite clear and sparkling! It is marked "14kt" on the back in teeny tiny letters that I just couldn't get to photograph clearly. It has the old "c" clasp. There are no missing pearls.

What a fine addition to any collection of antique of Victorian jewelry.
