REDUCED "Silent Night" Nativity Plate Bas Relief by Homco

What a wonderful gift to give someone for Christmas! This is the most beautifully done Nativity Plate I have ever had the privilege to see. (I can't believe I'm offering to send it to your home and not my own!) The plate is executed in bas relief and is at least partially hand painted. The Holy Family is done in lovely pastels, there is no heavy handedness in the artistry here, so the result is just a really lovely image of the Holy Family in a manger with sheep in the foreground and a cow or two in the background. Actually, this plate would be appropriate to display year round because it doesn't have that usual "Christmasy" feel that so much of this type of art seems to have these days. The mark is by "Homco" which is a Japanese producer of quality gift ware items. I believe this is probably from the 60s or 70s.
