This is a lovely vintage piece of English Staffordshire that depicts a wonderful scene of a young boy in Victorian dress with his devoted dog. He is holding the dog's paw as the dog looks up at him with devotion. A really lovely pastoral scene indeed. There is applied grass and other flora as you can see in the photos.

The piece measures 6 inches long, 3.25 wide and stands 5 inches tall. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing and all of the applied materials appear to be intact.

A wonderful collectible piece of Staffordshire to add to your collection, or a great piece for a dog collection as well.
