For your considersation I am delighted to present a fabulous pair of earrings that are not for the shrinking violet! Les Bernard was started in 1963 by Harold Shapiro and his son. Shapiro had previously been one of the three partners in Vogue jewelry until he left in 1961. He was a highly inventive and innovative designer whose jewelry remains affordable, and many collectors believe very undervalued.

These beauties measure 1 3/16ths inches square, the Napoleon "coin" is 1 inch in diameter. There is no wear that I can see to the white gold toned or the antiqued gold toned metal. They are signed on the back of the clips "Les Bernard."

While these have an awesome presence, they are reserved enough to go with a business suit, and funky enough to wear with jeans. Another great design by Les Bernard!
