Czech Guilloche Glass Floral Filigree Vintage Earrings

This is one of the loveliest pairs of earrings that I've seen in a while. These are from the Czech Republic (now named, was Czechoslovakia.) I believe that these are pre-WWII due to the spelling of the country on the earrings. It is spelled with an "h" which was dropped after Soviet occupation post the War.

Pretty is the only way to describe these. They feature faceted royal blue glass stones that are bezel set and surrounded by delicate enameled flowers done in pale blue and white. The larger center stone is surrounded by tiny white beads that are extremely delicate. There is a lovely gold toned metal filigree that is the base of the earring. They have screw backs.

These measure .75 inches in diameter, the center blue stone is .25 wide and 5/16ths of an inch long. Each earring features four guilloche flowers. They are in good condition with slight wear to the metal in front that you really have to look for. They are marked on the screw back "Czecohialav" as best as I can read due to wear over time and their age.

A really beautiful and elegant pair of vintage earrings.
