This is a nice vintage ring that is probably onyx (I haven't tested it.) The black stone is hand set and has a small white metal triangle that is set with a clear round stone. It is a size 6.5-6.75. There is nice detail work on the sides of the mount.

The black "stone" measures .5 inches tall and is 3/8ths of an inch wide. It is marked on the back "10 k GF." There is no maker's mark.

This is reminiscent of the onyx and diamond rings that were so popular during the Art Deco period. A nice ring that gives a lot of "look" for the price.
