For your consideration I am pleased to present this lovely china plate that has a beautiful center transfer ware depiction of Jesus and his disciples probably at the Last Supper. The decoration on the outside of the transfer is hand painted in 22 karat gold! The pattern is very intricate and offsets the center medallion beautifully.

Created by Pearl China Co. which had a short existence, they actually leased space from Hall China, from the late 1940s to apx. 1957. They were known for their extravagant use of 22 karat gold applied to their china and ceramics. I have a stunning ferner in the shop that was also done by Pearl and it is exquisite.

The plate is in excellent condition, the transfer appears to be fully intact and there is no wear to the gilding that I could see. There are no chips, crazing or cracks.
