For your consideration I present an estate ring that was purchased in the 1960s. It contains 7 round cut and individually set beautiful blue sapphires. The ring tests as 14kt gold.

The sapphires in this ring are a desireable dark blue, not the blue-black that you see so often any more. The style of this ring is what I would call a modified "bow." It is a size 6.5
