REDUCED Victorian Gold Filled & Pink Coral Serpentine Brooch

For your consideration, I am pleased to present a lovely Victorian brooch that is gold filled or plated in a serpentine motif that was quite the rage back in those days. The incised serpentine winds around a gorgeous piece of real natural pink coral that has been left in its natural state. Coral grows in branches, similar to a tree, and this is one of those little branches!

This beautiful piece has the old "C" style clasp. It measures 1 inch wide and 7/16ths of an inch from top to bottom. There is some wear to the plate or filling as can be noted in the photos, but altogether it is in very good antique condition.
