For your consideration, I present a rare and beautiful Victorian era Taille d'Epergne Greek Revival style 14kt gold bangle bracelet that is just to die for. The workmanship on this piece is simply outstanding in every way. It has a face of rose gold with the top and bottom bands in plain yellow gold as is the interior. That is why it may look a bit different in the photos because yellow and rose gold photograph very differently and getting good pictures of this combination was a monumental undertaking! You will see shadows in the photos, there are no dings here!

There is a black enameled band that runs along the top and bottom, and some of the design has been filled with black enameling as in the Greek Revival style. The background of the bracelet has an overall tiny incised pattern to it. The motif is both floral and stylized at the same time.

It tests as 14kt gold, but the safety chain is not gold, it may be gold filled and looks just fine. It measures 2.5 inches on the outside at its widest, and the bracelet is .5 inches wide. I wear a size 7 and this bracelet fits me beautifully. It doesn't slide around and crawl up my arm or fall down my hand the way most bangles do. I think this would be just fine for someone from a size 6 to a 7.5 assuming you aren't particularly large boned.

It is inscribed in script on the inside "Olive Von Dliet, Sept. 10, 1877. That gives us our date for this very special and rare piece of jewelry.
