REDUCED Baccarat Factice Perfume Bottle Guerlain L'Heure Bleue

For your consideration, I present a wonderful Baccarat factice, or false bottle, that was used as a display item and filled with oil or other liquid but not perfume. This particular design was introduced in the 1930s for Mitsuko and was used for other perfumes as well.

This is a tall factice measuring 5.5 inches high, 3 inches at its widest and 2 inches deep from front to back. The stopper is is glass with a frosted tip and measures 2.25 inches in length, and it is incised with "95.". It has the original label, and from the back of the bottle you can read the word "dummy" applied to the backside of the label to indicate its status as a factice.

The piece has "Guerlain Made in France, 4oz. Baccarat and the number 95" etched on the bottom. This indicates that the stopper is original to this factice.

A wonderful addition for the serious collector, this specimen is free of chips, cracks, discoloration or odor. The stopper itself is also without chips. A rare and wonderful find!
