This is a lovely dresser box made by Apollo of N.Y. ca. 1920. The top is done in a lovely guilloche in a light green olive color that has a protective clear composition top inset into the lid to protect the delicate enameling. It is gilded metal decorated with repousse floral swags around the bottom, and a smaller decorative design that is reminiscent of a maltese cross around the edge of the top of the box. There is also an intricate twisted rope design going around the very top, and a nice sized applied center medallion that is quite lovely.

This lovely box stands 2 inches high and is 4.5 inches in diameter. It appears to be brass over metal. There is a glass liner that sits inside the bottom and it is without chips or cracks, There is some wear to the finish on the bottom of the box from being moved but it is normal wear for a piece of this vintage that doesn't interfer with its collectibility.
