This is a really lovely bag from the 1970s that is black satin and coated with mostly bugle beads in a wonderful chevron pattern. There are iridescent bugle beads in ruby, copper, black and gold. It really catches the light and changes in appearance because of the iridescence. It can be worn as a clutch, or it also has a gold metal toned box chain to slip on your shoulder. This gorgeous bag was hand made in China about 30 years ago--not long after we reopened trade with them. The quality of work is very different today and does not show the laborious handwork found in this bag. It was made for La Regale and was purchased in Miami over 30 years ago. It is clean and odor free and has no missing beads. A very chic and classy bag that goes with many many things.
