SOLD Edwardian Rose Gold Plated Festoon Necklace & Bracelet Set Original Clasps

A rare find from an estate, this set tests as 10kt gold and is gold plated. There are some signs of wear in places, especially on the top of the bracelet as I've tried to show in the photos. Also, there is a cut mark on the back of the necklace where someone brutually hacked into it to check to see if it was gold or gold plate--duh! I just hate it when dingbats butcher jewelry! The good news is you can't see it when it's being worn.

The necklace is 15 inches long and is festooned with 3 flowing chains that look incredibly elegant.

Each of the chain frogs measure .75 inch wide and are .75 inch long. The bracelet has the same design with the two frogs on either side and 3 chains dropping down between them. The bracelet measures 6.5 inches. This has the extremely old style snap clasps!

This would make a wonderful addition to any collection of period jewelry.
