Vintage Lusterware Saltbox Czech Salt Box Lustreware 1920s

This vintage 1920s saltbox is marked “Victoria China Czechoslovakia” and was made by the Victoria Porcelain Factory. It is white porcelain, with beautiful blue luster on the front and sides. A floral design, with a gold scroll border above, enhances the front panel. These salt boxes, with the raised back panel, were meant to hang on the wall or could sit on a shelf or table.

The wooden cover is original to the box and is in very good condition, with just one age split extending in from one side. Porcelain is excellent, with no cracks, chips or damage. Box measures 4 3/4 inches across, 6 inches high and 3 3/4 inches front to back.

This is an outstanding lusterware salt box, that will add a touch of elegance wherever it is displayed.
