Exquisite Vintage Embroidered Clutch Purse Lovely Florals

This exquisite vintage clutch purse is highlighted with beautiful embroidered flowers and lovely flowing foliage on the front and back ~ and even inside the flap. Background color is a light tan, with a border of dark and light sienna. Embroidery is still vibrant in shades of red, salmon, pink, lavender, orange, white and blue, with leaves beautifully shaded with greens and soft yellow. French knots are evident around the center of some of the flowers. It is beautifully done and in very nice condition.

There are a few very small spots on the inside; and also light age discoloration in the center section ~ in the folds on the bottom. You have to open the folds to actually see it. There are small losses in some areas of the very edges of the purse, but nothing that detracts. Purse has no unpleasant odors.

Handbag has several compartments. Front flap opens with a snap closure, working perfectly, revealing three inner sections. The center has a clasp for security and has two slip pockets, one with a beveled edge mirror glued to the same fabric used for the lining ~ tan colored moiré. Also included is a USA clear plastic comb, though probably not original.

Purse measures 9 inches at the widest, 5 1/4 inches high and 2 1/2 inches across the bottom (with fold opened). Back has a self-fabric embroidered strap, to slip over your wrist when carrying.

This is just a delightful floral embroidered purse ~ perfect for day or evening ~ with room for all the necessities.
