A special boutique full of collectibles including Victoriana, vintage linens, fine art, china & silver, home decor & gifts.
This pair of child's two-tone leather high-top button-up shoes was found in Kentucky. They are of black and white leather with black buttons. Fully fabric-lined with a soft leather inside rim. A series of numbers is stamped inside beginning with "37" which may be European sizing. Sole length is 5 3/4" and the leather upper is 3 1/4" tall at heel. Front sole is 2 1/8" wide. Fair condition with no holes in leather upper or soles. There is minor wear to the leather at the toes. This can be seen in the photos. Lining is in good condition. A hand-written, penciled note was found in one shoe and inscribed, "Francis'." These little black and white shoes that once were worn by a little boy named Francis are probably over a hundred years old. They truly are treasures.
