Antique Oval Bone Box with Brass Inlay

This antique oval bone box with brass inlay is believed to have been made around 1890. It is 5 7/8" long and 3 1/4" wide. It has a beautiful patina and the brass inlay is exquisite. It is lined in purple velvet. There is slight damage to the left of the clasp that can be seen in the photos. Because of the color of the patina, this minor wear is not troublesome. Found in Leesburg, Virginia. A beautiful treasure.
