Spectacular, JAMES W. TUFTS VICTORIAN SILVER PIERCED BRIDES BASKET CENTERPIECE TRAY, with Blue, Crested, Sparkle, Hand Blown, Cased, Antique Art Glass Brides Bowl. These items are in Near Mint condition. There is no silver plate loss, the best condition of any antique basket that I have ever run across. A perfect gift or addition to your collection. Great item to have or give for this holiday season. The basket has four open work lily an vine feet, a Greek key at the base. The basket also has an open work with two heads of what I believe are Peacocks, in each corner. In between each corner are a myriad of lovely roses, lilies, daisies and other vines and flowers. The handle is outstanding with three long stem flowers on each side giving it a trellis look. The corners, feet and handle are nicely pierced with floral patterns. The stamp on the bottom reads; "James W. Tufts, Boston, warranted quadruple plate #2759 #15 or 16?". I have another James Tufts basket, that is in good condition, but because of the spectacular condition of this basket, this basket is much higher.
