The Forbes Silver Company was established in 1894 as a part of the Meriden Britannia Company. This Antique floral wreath etched basket is in Excellent Condition, with a lovely old overall patina. Impressed on the bottom with the Forbes eagle in a circle, and marked Forbes Silver Quadruple and the # 223. The rectangular basket measures 9" by 10" and stands approx. 9" with the handle up.
