Unique and extremely ornate pierced silver plate antique basket. It measures 12" in diameter and stands 10" to the middle of the raised swing handle. I believe this to be an early 1800's English Sheffield basket. It is unmarked, except for the number 47 on the bottom of the base. The raised ovals, framed in floral leaf, are outstanding. There is some tarnish, but overall beautiful condition with no breaks or repairs. Bowl is sold separately.

This intricate footed floral lattice piece was made and marked, "Queen City, Cincinnati, OH., 23-8 1A, Quadruple Plate". It is so unique that I'm not sure of it's original use, but makes a gorgeous planter, with the an enameled bowl with drainage hole in the bottom and ring handles that lift it from the four footed, silver plate frame. The frame is tarnished, and the liner has two enamel chips but still exquisite, and measures 4 1/2" high and 8 1/2" in diameter. Plants not included.
