This unique, wooden, sewing tool box opens flat to reveal all of its tools and folds up to make a compact box to store the tools.

With its dovetailed, rounded corners and flush fitting metal hinges, I think the person who invented this box was ahead of his time!

Made of beautiful, rare, tiger maple, the top of the box has a carved oval design with the words, "Patented 1889 February 19". The inside of the box is lined with its original brown velvet. There is no indication on the box or the tools to the brand of sewing machine this outfit belongs with.

Measures: 6.5" long. 3.5" high, and 3.25" deep.
