Postage rates:
If the shipping calculator figures a unrealistic price, contact me. Usually there is a way to lower the cost. I do all that I can to keep shipping costs down and to pass as much value as possible on to you. I do this by offering free combined shipping, charging no handling fees, and on heavier or bulkier items, combining your shipping as inexpensively as I reasonably can. I more often than not lose money on combined shipping but I view that as a thank you to you for buying more.

Personal Info:
As a teen bride, the only furnishings I could afford in the 1970's were ones called used! My first purchase was a small drop-leaf maple table with turned legs. Every time I look at that little table, my first antique, it brings back nostalgic memories when times were simpler.

Now, having been in the antique business for many years, I realize why I love vintage 20th century retro items. I love seeing them, touching them, and holding them, because of those nostalgic memories I can actually hold in my hand.

I hope you too, enjoy things from the past, including the quality, value, and selection of the assorted items I offer. Maybe you'll find a glass bowl like your mother used to have, old fabric just right for your quilt, or a pattern to make a dress like the one you wore to your first dance!

My Logo..
Many people ask about my logo, the photo of the red barn and Ohio painted on the side. This barn is located on US 20-A in Holland, Ohio, East of Toledo, Ohio. It is one of the barns, selected in each county for Ohio's bicentennial. This barn represents Lucas County, about an hour from my home. It is rapidly being surrounded by "urban-hood" and will probably be overtaken soon. I keep this photo as my logo to remember this charming little barn and all the barns from the past.
