Beautiful set of Italian hand-painted plates from the 70's

With a quaint Tuscan scene, these plates are unique and very special. One large serving plate and 4 small dishes are included in this set. The Italian countryside is depicted with a church and a country lane with trees. The set is hand-painted, and marked very simply on the bottom '78 Italy'. They are all in excellent condition. There is one very small spot on the edge of one of the small plates - it doesn't feel like a chip - it looks like a spot that was not covered with the glaze when firing. One of the close up pictures tries to capture this.

Dimensions: large plate: 13", small plates: 8 1/2".
