Wonderful 8 cup Hall teapot from the company's Gold Label line, in the shape of their 'Los Angeles Teapot'. Deep green in color with gold accents, this teapot has very heavy gold applied to the handle, spout, and lid handle. As a contrast, there is a delicate stylized design around the lid, the top, and the base. Hailing from the mid 20th century, it is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. There is normal wear of the heavy gold application, giving it a vintage patina. The bottom is stamped with a gold mark of 'Hall', '081S', 8 cup', 'made in USA'. There is a black circle mark of 'HALL' under the gold mark. 'R S' is stamped into the bottom. What a lovely addition to a teapot or Hall collection!
