Lovely small cup and saucer from Limoges, France. The mark on bottom of both pieces is the black 'P V Made in France' mark, which indicates made by the Parry & Vieille factory. This is a wonderful little transferware set showing florals and pheasants. From the mid 20th century, this set has wonderful color. There is some crazing, and there is a hairline crack down one side of the cup (please see pictures). There is a unique little scene at the bottom of the cup, showing a house, mountains and trees. This could be a lovely addition to a bird motif collection to use as display.
