Wonderful hand-painted Japanese candy dish in a floral chintz pattern from Moriyama Mori-Machi. This pattern is dated from the 1920's. This square dish has a single handle that wraps up on one side is an unusual shape. The lovely pinks, reds, blues and greens in the floral pattern are enhanced with gold on the rim and handle. In excellent condition, there is some wear on the inner rim. Back is marked with a red 'MM' mark and 'hand-painted Japan'.
