Beautiful Minton octagon compote in Denmark pattern

Beautiful octagon shaped Minton compote in the Denmark pattern with gold and orange coloring. Intricate design with stylized floral and geometric patterns. The gold painting is in great shape - just some normal wear on the rim. No chips or cracks, in great condition. There is crazing throughout the piece, giving it aged character. There is also some brown in the crazing on the bottom and a couple of discolored areas in the crazing on the top, see pictures. The mark is 'Mintons' on the globe. There is a design registration mark indicating April 10, 1878. There is also a hand-painted '1937' mark on the bottom, confusing the dating of this piece. This may be a later mark by an importer, but I can't be sure. In any event, it is a lovely and unusual antique piece.
