This is a beautiful square shaped serving bowl, by Rosenthal Sanssouci. From about the 1930's, this is a wonderful example of German china. The bowl has a sculpted pattern around the edges, with green transferware floral motifs on each side of top. There is a gold roping pattern around rim, some of the gold has worn off due to age. Otherwise, it is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks. The bottom reads 'Rosenthal', 'SILB Bavaria', ' Sanssouci'. A numerical mark of '1475' with an 'n' under ...
